SYCAMORE – James Edward "Jimmy" Kline, 47, of Sycamore, Ill., who was a loving father, dedicated family man, genuine friend to many and outdoor enthusiast, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2014. |
Born Jan. 3, 1967, Jim was a faithful servant of his country and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corp. where he served from 1985 to 1988.
Jim graduated from Michigan University and went to Hemlock High School near Saginaw, Mich., where he was born.
Jim was a man of great faith and belonged to Salem Lutheran Church in Sycamore. He is now in a beautiful place; no pain, no unhappiness and no worries.
He has the company of some wonderful souls. His love is felt by all who knew him. They will greatly miss his wonderful personality, sense of humor and tremendous friendship, until they all meet again.
His family would like to thank the staff at Kishwaukee Hospital for all of their care and support.
He is survived by his daughter, Abigail Kline; partner, Trisha Dodge, and son of Trisha, AJ Dolnak; sister, Barb Kline (Bob) Cesaro; and nephew, Bobby Cesaro. It is on good authority that Jim loved all of the aforementioned and his many friends as much as life itself.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. March 29, at Olson Funeral Home – Quiram Sycamore Chapel in Sycamore, with visitation at 1 p.m. Following the service an open house will be held by his family at Jim and Trisha's home located at 326 Chautauqua Lane, Sycamore.
A memorial fund in Jim's name has been established for the ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) foundation, 3330 Dundee Road, Northbrook, IL 60062.
