NOWTHEN, Minn. – William R. "Bill" Laudando Sr., 77, of Nowthen, Minn., formerly of Kingston, Batavia and Villa Park, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minn.|
He was born April 1, 1936, in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Bertha (DiGiovanni) Laudando.
Bill served his country in the U.S. Navy. He built his electrical business TECAM Inc. of Villa Park and Batavia. He found time to become a Villa Park volunteer firefighter. Bill enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, fishing and hitting the trails of Eagle River, Wis., snowmobiling. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Laura (Bruno) Rendina of Oswego, Julie (Mark) Marshall of Nowthen and Bill (Kay) Laudando of Aurora; grandchildren, Bruno and Brian (Kristin) Rendina, Adriana (James) Klima, David and Kirie Marshall, Christopher, Megan, Joey and Bernadette Laudando; great-grandchildren, Christian Rendina and Briana Klima; sister, Audrey Willick of Burlington, Wis.; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents; and first wife, Kathleen (Berg).
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. Friday, May 24, until the time of the funeral service at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State St. (Route 38), Geneva. Funeral services will be at noon Friday, May 24, at Malone Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl L. M. Rasmussen, officiating. Burial will be private.
