DeKALB – Angel Ramiro Estrada, 32, of DeKalb, Ill., died Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Foster G. McGaw Hospital, Maywood.|
Born May 20, 1981, in DeKalb, the son of Jose M. and Juanita (Banda) Estrada, Angel married Lupita Robles on April 6, 2000, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
After graduating from DeKalb High School and attending Kishwaukee College, Angel was a telecommunications- and technical-support manager. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, DeKalb.
He is survived by his wife, Lupita, and children, Estevan and Ariana, all of DeKalb; mother, Juanita Estrada of DeKalb; father, Jose Estrada of Mexico; sister, Yolanda (Mario Arredondo) Estrada of DeKalb; brothers, Joey Estrada of Houston, Eddy (Monica) Estrada of Durand and Rafael Estrada of DeKalb; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 Pine St., DeKalb, by the Rev. James Parker. Cremation will follow the service at Anderson Funeral Home Crematory, DeKalb. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Anderson Funeral Home, DeKalb.
