STILLMAN VALLEY – Cory Lee Hall, 28, of Stillman Valley, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014.|
Born Oct. 13, 1985, to Edward Lee Hall Jr. and Linette J. (Woolcott) Hall, Cory was a graduate of Hiawatha School and later became a heavy equipment operator for IUOE Local 150.
Beloved son, brother and friend, he enjoyed sharing laughs and fun with family and friends. A dedicated father, he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and sports with his son, Landon. He had been working on restoring his 1962 Chevy Belair with his brother and son. Cory was always willing to help out or lend a hand to those around him.
He is survived by his fiancé (wife), Danielle Marie Parisot of Stillman Valley; son, Landon Lee of Stillman Valley; parents, Edward L. and Linette J. Hall of Byron; brother, Edward J. (Andrea) Hall of Stillman Valley; grandparents, Sharon (Woolcott) and Michael Hanlon of Florida and Terry and Mary Ann Woolcott of Colorado; mother- and father-in-law, Tim and Cathy Whitford; brothers-in-law, Tyler Parisot, Nick Parisot and Cody (Samantha) Whitford; sisters-in-law, Chelsea Whitford and Cierra Whitford; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and several extended brothers and friends (you know who you are).
Cory was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward L. Sr. and Roberta Hall of Kirkland.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Kirkland Fire Department, Route 72, Kirkland, with Pastor Rick Lindholtz officiating. A visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cory Hall Memorial Fund in care of Byron Bank in honor of Cory's son, Landon.
