ERNEST DAVIDSON Obituary
Ernest had a passion for God and an unfailing faith. He had a genuine love for people, and he shared God's word with everyone he met. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and nephew.
He is survived by his wife; his children, Izaiah Crest and Carter, both of DeKalb; his parents, Ernest Washington and Diana (Monroe) Mitchell of Kenosha, Wis.; his siblings, Cassandra, Anthony, Ricky and Lamar Davidson, all of Aurora; maternal grandmother, Mary Neal, paternal grandmother, Barbara Washington; and paternal grandfather, George Russell.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May, 19, at Olson Funeral and Cremation Services, Ltd., Quiram Sycamore Chapel, 1245 Somonauk St., with the Rev. Yvonne Smith officiating. A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, in the Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Mayfield Cemetery.

Its been a year now since you left us, and everyday I miss you more and more. I remember us being kids growing up and I just wish we could go back so I can say that I love you one last time. Today, I had to pull this up because you were on my mind. I can still hear your voice in my head so clearly as well as your laugh.I think God for the time he gave us from birth till your passing. I miss you so much. I know in my heart I will see you againa nd that give me peace. I will continue to make you proud.All the things we talked about I have been accomplishing them one by one. You always seen the best in me and wanted the best for me and I an walking that walk. We both had a desire to serve od and get it right and I did it. I have kicked the negative things out of my life and I have never had so much joy and peace. It's unbelieveable. I miss you and love you, but I know you are having the best experience where you are. I worked with Ernest and was deeply saddened by the news of his passing. Ernest was always a very kind and friendly guy. He was also a hard worker and dedicated to his job. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. God Bless Ernest! RIP!

Ernie had such a warm personality. You couldn't help but smile when he was around. He brought joy to everyone he met. May his friends and family find comfort in knowing how special he was to his grade school friends. You will be greatly missd. Rest in Peace Worm.

I always remembered Ernie as a happy guy. I had never seen him frown. We go back to second grade and I will never forget his spirit. He will truly be missed. May God bless his family.

My sympathies go out to the Davidson family. I went to elementary, middle and high school with Worm and he was nothing but a joy to be around. He made you laugh and made you feel good about yourself if you were down. Reading he was a father and a husband, he, without a doubt, instilled his selflessness and love to his family. Rest in peace.

Our family send our condolences to your family. Ernie used to play with my son Grant Hopper and Ernie came to our house many times. Just this past Christmas we were watching movies we took of Ernie and Grant working on a class interview project. Ernie always made us laugh.
