Frank E. Johnson, 88, of Estero, Fla., died on March 21, 2013, at Health Park Medical Center, Fort Myers, Fla.|
He was born on March 18, 1925 in Sycamore, a child of Peter N. and Marie S. (Paulsen) Johnson.
A World War II Marine Corps veteran, he was the owner of F. E. Johnson Construction Company in Sycamore for 35 years. He was a member of the ELKS, Lions, VFW, American Legion, Bricklayers Union and the Salem Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Nadine (Randolph) Johnson; children, Jan M. (Pamela) Johnson of Greenwood Village, Colo., Dan N. Johnson of Estero and Nony (Steve) Roush of Sycamore; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Peter L. (Char) Johnson of DeKalb.
Funeral service will be held at a later date.
