GLORIA ORMOND Obituary
Born June 8, 1953, in Geneva, the daughter of Willis L. and Lucille E. (Herrmann) Campbell, she married Dennis J. Ormond July 11, 1970, in Hampshire.
She attended schools in Elgin and Hampshire and was employed by Clinical Computer Systems Inc. in Elgin. Gloria enjoyed camping, craft shows and watching her grandchildren's sports.
She is survived by her mother; son, Brian (Gina) Ormond of Duluth; daughter, Bridgett (Jason) Kedzie of Sycamore; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Alissa Ormond and Austin and Collin Kedzie; two brothers, William Campbell and Richard (Sandy) Campbell; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was predeceased by her father; husband; and nephew, Ryan Campbell.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at Olson Funeral & Cremation Services Ltd, Quiram Sycamore Chapel, 1245 Somonauk St., Sycamore. Burial is at Plato Center Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the funeral home.

Gloria was the glue that held our CCSI family together. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with her family.

I will always remember Gloria opening her home to me on the holiday's while I was patroling, and always making sure there was plenty of Hot Chocolate or coffee when I would stop by in my squad car. She was always able to put a smile on my face, and I will miss seeing her around town.

I'm so sorry for your loss. She will be missed as she touched so many people's lives. I will miss her humor, laughter, and stories about her grandkids and camping. I'm sure Denny and Ryan welcomed her and that gives me some comfort. She was taken too soon. My sincerest condolences.

Though we are grieved by gloria's passing,we,and dennis, may be pleased to find themselves together again in paradise.remembering my nephew dennis and his family every night upon retireing,i now will remember gloria as well god bless again this union of spirits....floyd & yvonne payne
