Idania was born Aug. 5, 1961 in Cuba, the daughter of Eugenio and Emiliana (Brito) Perez.
She was a 1980 graduate of DeKalb High School and enjoyed raising her kids.
She is survived by Bill Young of Lee; her daughter, Christine E. Maxsadt of Plano; her two sons, Brent J. (Julie) Young of Rochelle, Michael M. Young of Lee; her brother, Albert Perez of DeKalb; her best friend, Georgette Perez of DeKalb; Bill's mother, Diane T. Young of Aurora; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Bill's father, Jack J. Young.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Anderson Funeral Home, DeKalb with Father Kenneth Anderson of St. Mary Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, DeKalb. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Anderson Funeral Home, DeKalb.
