James W. Massier born June 24, 1947 to Clarence and Marie Massier returned to our Lord and Savior February 17, 2018 at his home in Mesa, AZ.

He was a man of many talents and great passion for his family, friends, God and his country. He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1970 in both Germany and Vietnam. Upon returning home he earned an accounting degree from NIU. He succeeded in many business ventures.

Jim will be remembered as the life of the party and a man whose priorities of faith in God, loyalty to family and living life on his terms. He will live on in our hearts and many, many wonderful memories. He will never be forgotten.

Jim is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife, Carol (Lothson); his beloved son, Mark (Nicole); his beloved daughter, Nichole Krueger (Christian); grandchildren, Addision (7) and Alexander (5) Krueger and 2 month old Brady James all of Mesa, AZ; two brothers, Greg (Judy) and Chuck (Barb) of Mesa, AZ; two sisters, Nancy Shoger (Ron) of St. Charles and Laurie Patterson of DeKalb; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Marie Massier; one infant sister, Mary Therese; and one infant brother, David Michael; and a brother-in-law, Mark Patterson.

Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 1:00pm at the St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb with Father Dean Russell officiating. A reception will follow the mass to celebrate Jame's life at the Kishwaukee Country Club in DeKalb from 2:30pm till 5:00pm.
