Dear Mr. Matson, Christian, Thor and Chandler, please accept my deepest sympathy. I didn't know Janet very long, we met at the Hope Lodge, my daughter Jennifer was going thru treatments at same time as Janet, and I was immediately drawm to her, she was very charismatic, as I am sure you know. She really touched my heart and my daughter Jennifer's as well. I always looked forward to our chats while my daughter was going thru the radiation, as Janets treatments were after my daughters. She always had such a positive attitude and was so proud of her sons and family. God Bless you all in this time of sorrow, she was an amazing woman and I will miss her.

Dear Steve, Thor, Chandler, Anna and children,
We were so sorry to hear of Janet's passing.
No one can ever replace a wife and a mother, but we hope that you hold each other close during this time of sadness and remember Janet's remarkable life and what a gift she was to all of you.

Dear Steve, Thor and Chandler. I was saddened to hear about Janet's passing. I have fond memories of laughig with her at Old Ship and being at your beautiful home in Hingham. My thoughts are with you. I would love to read her book about "gettinght emost out of Life" - if there was anyone who knew how to do that it was Janet.

Dear Steve, Thor and Chandler, I am so sad and shocked to learn of the death of Janet. What a woman. So full of life and enthusiasm. I feel as though I watched Janet come alive when we were together in the Cakes for the Queen of Heaven class at Old Ship. Janet had started reading the Bible from cover to cover. Each week she would arrive and inform us of what new passage she had discovered that once again dismissed women and took away their goddess worship. Her enthusiasm was inspiring.
Then there was the week on Star Island where she was teaching her class on Circles. The final class was on transformation. By the light of one lone bulb in a room on Star under the influence of gin and tonics I cut Janet's hair under her direction of course. That night I felt that I did experience probably only one of her many transformations. What a woman.
Merry Meet and Merry Part and Merry Meet again. God Bless Janet Matson

To Janet's family I am sending condolences on the loss of a wonderful person. I went to school with Janet in Sycamore and have such great memories of her and her family. We had many happy events including sleepovers at her home where we would laugh until early in the morning. I don't know why we called it a sleepover because we never slept. I always looked forward to seeing her at our reunions & missed her when she wasn't able to come. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family. Marilyn Frank-Stromborg
