Jeffrey Paul Seyller, 60, Genoa, passed away peacefully Monday, February 12, 2018 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.

He loved to fish and looked forward to his yearly fishing trips with his brothers and friends. He was employed by Corrugated Box in Elgin for many years and most recently Sycamore Container until his illness prevented him from working. He enjoyed spending time with family, cooking on the "barbie", playing horseshoes, watching John Wayne movies and playing around with his nieces and nephews who lovingly called him "Uncle Buck". Jeff was a member of St. Catherine of Genoa Church. He served on the Parish Council, was an usher, and recently joined the Knights of Columbus.

My condolences to the family and many friends of Jeff. I got to know Jeff playing horse shoes when he joined my team at the Hampshire VFW. Soon after, my team was loaded with Seyllers. Those were fun times. R.I.P. Jeff.
