Obituary Condolences

Lucy F. Abraham, 87, a former resident of Carol Stream and Kingston, Ill., died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center in DeKalb. Born July 22, 1920, she was the daughter of Peter and Vinceza Fracassi. Lucy retired in 1985 after 30 years at the First National Bank of Chicago. She loved to knit and crochet and to play bingo. She enjoyed many road trips to the Indian casinos in Wisconsin. She enjoyed family gatherings, her many friends and shopping. She is survived by three children, Jim (Arlene) Abraham, Marilyn (John) Batson and Barbara (Allan) Haberkamp; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond (the late Jeanette) Fracassi; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Abraham, in 1978; a daughter, Joan, in 2007; and two brothers, Angelo and Tony. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 7, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials can be directed to DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center, 2600 N. Annie Glidden Road, DeKalb, IL 60115.
