Born Aug. 22, 1965, in Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Moises and Maria Luz (Ruiz) Pizano, Moises married the former Gloria Alamia on Aug. 21, 1986, at St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb.
Moises worked for Engineering Storage Products in DeKalb, Spaulding in DeKalb, Nehring Electric Works in DeKalb, DeKalb Iron and Metal in DeKalb, Kuipers Family Farm and for Schweizer Apple Orchard in St. Joseph. Moises attended St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb, and was social member of the Columbus Club in DeKalb.
Survivors include wife, Gloria of DeKalb; son, Moises Alamia Pizano of DeKalb; stepson, John (Shannon) Alamia of DeKalb; mother, Luz Ruiz of Mexico; step-grandchildren, Ella and Ava Alamia, both of DeKalb; brothers, Ronaldo, Nicolas and Manuel; sister, Carmen; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at St. Mary Catholic Church, DeKalb, with the Rev. Kenneth Anderson celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. Saturday, until the time of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
