Died: July 5, 2018; in Ritzville, WA

Nancy Ellen MacGinnitie Weber daughter of longtime DeKalb residents Walter and Elizabeth MacGinnitie passed away peacefully in her sleep July 5, 2018 at her home in Ritzville, WA after a valiant fight against Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Born May 2, 1945 in Fort Wayne, IN, and moving with her family to DeKalb after World War II, Nancy attended DeKalb schools graduating from DeKalb High School in 1963. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Stout in Menomonie, WI receiving her Bachelor of Science of Food Service in 1967. After graduation, Nancy accepted a position with Washington State University as a Home Extension Agent for Adams County locating to Ritzville. While in Ritzville she met Michael Weber and together they enjoyed 48 years of marriage. After several years as a stay at home mom raising 5 very energetic boys, Nancy joined the Ritzville School District eventually working in administration. She had 26 years of service with the schools.

Her parents and son, Doug Weber, precede her in death.

She is survived by husband, Mike in Ritzville; sons, Michael (Laura) Weber of Naches, WA, Greg (Sherry) of Grays Lake, IL, Walter of Ritzville and Grant (Ginny) of Ritzville. She is also survived by brothers, Jim (Barbara) of Atlanta, GA and Bob (Georgie) of Seattle, WA; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 14 at the Zion Philadelphia United Church of Christ, Ritzville, WA. Reception following at the American Legion, Ritzville.
