I worked with Pat at CPS. Though in a different department, he was such a help to me through the years, always patient, and with such humor; he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I extend my condolences to the family of my good friend and co-worker of 30 years at CPS. Always good natured and calm, under stress or when just plain having a great time fishing or partying. Can't wait to play again in Heaven. Miss you, BB

We were co-workers in the same area of the IT Department. Pat welcomed me on my first day in the IT Department in 1979. I have known Pat since that time and he was always a friend who made me laugh until my stomach would hurt. He always had a real good out look for life and he also always had time for everyone.

I worked with Pat in the 70's at CPS and will not ever forget his mild, relaxed, manor even in the most stressfull times in the computer room. He always could lean back in his chair and laugh this big laugh that was contagious when we had a calm moment. I was a little younger and very uptight most of the time but always wish I had that happy-go-lucky personality--even envious actually. Those were the good old days but I'll never forget that laugh which came from so far inside and free it made his belly shake. I'll never forget him. Ray Jean Gaston-San Antonio,TX

My sincerest sympathies to Tiffany and the family. I will always remember the way he made me a part of family when Debby and I went to see him in Texas. I fondly remember the Alamo when he and I ran Debby ragged; and also when he took us to lunch on the riverfront and the boat crashed into the side right by us.....he always had a great sense of humor. Rest assured he is now in no pain and is catching the largest fish of his life.

I have many fond memories of my cousin Pat when we lived in DeKalb. I remember him going off to war, I remember when he got married and I remember how happy and beaming his was when he daughter was born. He always knew how to make you laugh and the last time I saw him was when we were all home for his dad's funeral and I am glad I had that time with him. I know he was loved and will be missed but I also know he is finally at peace and no longer suffering. I will always treasure the time I got to spend with him with Rosie and I made a trip to Texas and he took us all around to see all the sights and he also took me to Ft. Sam Houston where my dad had been stationed and we got to go into the barricks he was in. You will be missed by me and all of your family and friends.

I don't remember not knowing the Wildey family. We grew up together, first one street over from us on First St. and then Tilton Park. I remember Pat fondly as a great guy, great son, brother and friend.

Not only was Pat a great friend for the past 33 years but he was also a great fishing buddy for the major part of that time. The great times that we had especially on our fishing trips to the coast are memories that will never be erased or forgotten. My sincere condolences to his daughter Tiffany and his sister and brother, Linda and Dan.

I'll miss you Pat. You were pretty goofy as a kid, but weren't we all? I'm glad we got to reconnect when you moved back to DeKalb around 2005-2006. I'm so sorry about how much you had to go through the last years of your life. Hope you are at peace & know that you will be remembered with love. Ginny Wildey Ziders
