DeKALB – Mark Bradley Patterson, 54, of DeKalb, Ill., died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore.|
Born Sept. 27, 1959, in Oak Park, the son of Dale and Elizabeth "Betty" (Kanaby) Patterson, Mark graduated from DeKalb High School in 1977.
He married Laurie Massier on Sept. 20, 1986, at St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb. He was an independent insurance adjuster for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie; mother, Betty Patterson; three children, Sam, Alaryce and Aliza Patterson; brother, Jeffrey (Cindie) Patterson; and sister, Elizabeth (Ralph) Nolte.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Patterson.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home, 310 Oak St., DeKalb, with the Rev. James Parker officiating. Visitation will take place from 3:30 p.m. Saturday, until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Finch Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
