SYCAMORE – Thomas M. 'Mick" Cliffe Jr., 70, of Sycamore, Ill., and formerly of DeKalb, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Pine Acres Rehab & Living Center in DeKalb.|
Mick was born June 28, 1943, the son of Thomas M. and Beverly (Jacobus) Cliffe Sr.
Mick was a graduate of DeKalb Township High School, Class of 1961. He was married to the former Thora Seeley and together they had four children: Mike (Amanda) Cliffe of Mondamin, Iowa, Rick (Tina) Cliffe of Sycamore, Adam (Amie) Cliffe of Melbourne, Fla., and Kim (Jim) Hernandez of DeKalb. Mick also is survived by seven grandchildren; six brothers; five sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Mick will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 3, at Sycamore Vets Club. Mick graciously donated his body to Northern Illinois University Biological Science Program.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
