DeKALB – Louis Bazos, 78, of DeKalb, Illinois, died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.|
He was born Oct. 24, 1935, in Greece, the son of Kostantino and Hrisoula (Kardaras) Bazos.
Louis emigrated from Greece to Canada in 1953. He then moved to the United States in 1965 and made a home here since then. He worked at various restaurants throughout his career.
Survivors include his two brothers, George (Chris) Bazos and Peter Bazos; one sister, Helen (Xenefon) Constone; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John; and one sister, Madeline Mangos.
His visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at the York Funeral Home and Cemetery in Toronto, Ontario, with a service and burial at 10 a.m. Monday, June 9.
