I too would like to thank everyone for thier kind words. My mom Grace was a kind, loving and generous person. She has left a deep imprint on my heart and that of my brothers that we will carry with us forever. It has been lovely to read the fond memories of others during this difficult time. Thank you!

To the Hamilton Family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of Gracie. I have not seen Grace in many, many years but as a child and teenager; I remember her vividly as we all played together in the neighborhood along with Kelly & Craig Thurow and special friends like Sara Kamm and Patty Greene. Gracie was such a free and kind spirit and so full of life! She will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to your family. God Bless.
Sincerely,
Colette (Davis) Groves

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to the Hamilton family in the loss of Gracie. She and several siblings spent younger years playing in the neighborhood where my family lived on the corner of Main and Ottawa. I'm sure there was a path worn between the Hamilton residence, thru the Thurow residence to the Sarbon residence. I hope it helps to know that we are thinking of you in your time of grief.

I am so sorry to hear of Grace's passing. When I was 7, my family moved to Sycamore and we lived on the corner of Main and Lincoln street. Grace and her family lived several houses down the block. As kids, we would play together often. I will always remember Grace with a smile on her face! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family

Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of Gracie. Words cannot alone express how sorry I was to hear this news.
Gracie lived next door to me, so we spent our childhood years together as friends and then into our adult years as friends also. It seems like just yesterday that we were playing ghost, ghost come out tonight in our neighborhood. We played this almost every night in the summer. Boy, could Gracie run fast! We also enjoyed walking up town to Ben Franklin’s with our coins to by candy on the weekends. I have so many fond memories, but will share the first one that popped into my mind. Gracie had beautiful curly hair, which was a bit frizzy in certain weather. She used to give herself those VO5 hot oil hair treatments. When we were around ten she asked me if I would like to join her for a treatment. I said ok, so she played hairdresser. Her hair turned out beautiful as always, however mine did not because I had very fine, blond hair. We couldn’t figure out why mine would not wash out clean. She must have washed my head half a dozen times. Needless to say, we laughed about it everyday for quite sometime. I didn’t care at the time if I had hair that looked like it was soaked in baby oil, but I am sure my mom did because she washed my hair twice a day for two weeks. I laughed about that today as I was thinking of Gracie.
Gracie was the class clown. She always had a smile on her face, and laughed and giggled ALL the time. This is how I will remember my dear friend.
May it help to know that others are thinking of you and wishing you comfort,
Kelly Thurow Niemi
