Badonie, Rena "Lynnie" - Aztec  
Rena "Lynnie" Badoni, 56, of Aztec, passed onto our Heavenly Father on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016. She was born Aug. 20, 1959, in Shiprock. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Mom liked to sew, crochet, travel and socialize. Her sparkling personality and laughter brightened many hearts. She is survived by seven brothers, three sisters, three children, one grandchild and countless nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today at the Dineh Christian Center in Shiprock. Interment to follow at the Badoni Family Cemetery in Cudei, N.M. Aurette ""Toots"" Evans, 92, of Bloomfield, passed away at her home on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, in Bloomfield. She was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Wilson, Okla. She worked at the Senior Citizens Center, Bloomfield Schools and volunteered at various organizations. Aurette was proceeded in death by her husband, Trevenor Evans; her parents, Jess and Lillie Testerman; and brother, Kenneth Testerman. She is survived by Shirley (John) Curtis; Wanette (Dick) Bausch; Jesse (Lou) Evans; Lee (Pat) Evans; Doug (Lore) Mize; Tandra (Eddie) Malcom; Tom (Maureen) Curtis; Dan (Stephanie) Curtis; Kari (Buck) Burkhow; Russell (Missy) Bausch; Kris (Shanna) Hathaway; Veronica (Rob) Lee; Christina (Dan) Sabol; Trevenor (Maria) Evans; Brooke (David) Romero; Sara (Manuel) Zepeda; Megan (Casey) Wells; and 33 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren plus two in the oven. She is also survived by her brother, Jack (Rosemary) Testerman; and sister-n-law, Dorothy Testerman. A visitation will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the First Baptist Church, 200 W. Sycamore Ave. in Bloomfield. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Farmington. Foust, Ronald Lee - Farmington  
Ronald Lee Foust, 73, of Farmington, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016. He was born to Riley (Billy) and Wilma Foust on Sept. 29, 1942, in Clinton, Okla. Ron graduated from Farmington High School in 1960. He married Janet in 1963 and they celebrated 52 wonderful years of marriage. They had two sons, Ronald Dean and Alan Lee. He worked for Graves Oil & Butane for 32 years. Upon retiring, Ron went to work for Bloomfield Schools as an educational assistant for the band director and treasured the interactions he had with the students. Ron's greatest joys were spending time with his family and friends, coaching his boys in all of their sports, traveling, playing golf, loving on his grandson and spoiling his wife. Ronald was preceded in death by his son, Alan Lee Foust; and mother, Wilma E Foust. He is survived by his wife, Janet R. Foust; son, Dean (Riki) Foust; father, Riley ""Billy"" Foust; sister, Janice K. (Jerry) Wilson; and one grandchild, Riley Dean Foust. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the Piñon Hills Community Church in the Student Center, 5101 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington with Pastor Tim Hargrove officiating. Fuller, Frank Eugene "Gene" - Kirtland  
Frank "Gene" Eugene Fuller, 88, passed away from natural causes on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, in Kirtland. Born July 21, 1928, in Pine, Ariz. to Lester Hiram Fuller and Ora Lillian Jones, he was raised on Northern Arizona ranches with his seven brothers and sisters. After his junior year of high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany from 1946-49. After returning home he worked on the Diamond A and K4 Ranches. During this time, he met the love of his life, Phyllis Joan Kielhorn. They were married Oct. 2, 1950 in Flagstaff, Ariz. Frank was re-called for service during the Korean Conflict. He had a full and illustrious career in the Natural Gas Industry working many years for El Paso Natural Gas in the Four Corners area and Idaho. He also worked for Mobil Oil in Tripoli, Libya, POI in West Texas, and Llano Gas in N.M. and other parts of the U.S. He was an adventurer who loved learning, traveling, exploring new places, serving others and breakfast at McDonald's. He enjoyed photography, camping, baseball and Jeopardy. Above all, Frank loved the Lord and his family first and foremost. He was a respecter of all people and was respected by those he worked with in return. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings wherever they lived. While serving as Mayor of Bayfield, Colo., the town received a national award for their efforts in beautification and clean-up projects. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Lester H., Jerry, and Jack Fuller; sisters, Eleanor, Helen and Freddie; son-in-law, Roger Ashbaker; grandchildren, Tara and Jacob Hardcastle; and great-granddaughter, Charity Murphy. He is survived by Phyllis, his eternal companion; son, Nathan (Arcilia) Fuller; daughters, Bonnie (Dennis) Caywood, Mickie (Thomas) Warner, Shannan (James) Hardcastle, and Diana (David) Saxton; sister, Betty Jo Dent; sisters-in-law, Hazel and Penny; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Caryl Busman, and Richard Kielhorn; 27 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to LDS Humanitarian Services or the Salvation Army. A viewing will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 473 Road 6100 in Kirtland. Scott Robert Gagnebin, 31, of Farmington, passed from this life on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016. He was born on June 8, 1985, in Farmington. Haase, Gretchen Ann - Portales  
Gretchen Ann Haase, 75, a longtime resident of Portales, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, in Albuquerque, surrounded by her family. Gretchen was born on July 1, 1941, in Crestone, Iowa, and spent her childhood and teen years in Farmington with her brother Peter and parents, Don and Helen Jungbluth Welsh. Her dad and mom purchased a Ben Franklin Store, known as Friendly Bennys, where she and her brother worked at the store while in high school. Gretchen loved horses, socializing and was a very talented swimmer. In high school, she was involved in Student Council and was known as a bit of a "class clown" and a practical joker, forming lifetime friendships with classmates. After graduating from Farmington High School, Gretchen attended the University of New Mexico. In 1962, she married and moved to Portales where she began her full time job as a devoted mother and wife. She was recognized as Mother of the Year in 1974, by the American Mothers Committee and again Woman of the Year in 1975. She was baptized at Central Christian Church, was active in the community and worked tirelessly for the American Cancer Society. Gretchen also established the Don C. Westfall Memorial Fund which raised money for cancer patients; she was highly involved in charitable fundraising and public education for cancer awareness. Gretchen enjoyed working with children and was the Director-Owner of Portales Preschool from 1978 through 2003. She was active with friends, family and volunteering throughout her life. Gretchen consistently gave gifts anonymously. She loved cooking for her friends, collecting books, music, travel, photography, as well as collecting and selling antiques. Gretchen had a true gift for getting autographs from such people as Jimmy Stewart, Richard Bach, Chuck Yeager, Anne Rice, Bill Walton and Ronald Reagan. Gretchen was well known in the community for cooking for friends, in later years, for working with the elderly and taking care of people in need and animals. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for so many reasons, mostly her love, community outreach and generosity. Gretchen was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Tex Haase of Tucumcari and her parents, Don and Helen Welsh of Pocatello, Idaho. She is survived by her three children, Scooter (Deb) Haase of Lancaster, Pa., Robin (Mike) Billmaier and of Albuquerque, and Donald "Don" (Kenna) Haase of Denver; brother, Peter Welsh of Pocatello, Idaho; grandchildren, Dan, Justin and Haley Faith and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the Central Christian Church, 1528 S. Main Street in Portales. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Christian Church, 1528 S. Main, Portales, N.M. 88130, the Portales Animal Rescue, P.O.
