Alice "Allie" "Neenie" Faye Cook, of Chandler, Ariz., went to be with the Lord and Savior on Aug. 13, 2013. She was born in Aztec, Nov. 30, 1940.
She lived in Aztec most of her life having moved to Arizona in 2000 to be with her grandkids. She loved playing the piano, spending time with her grandkids and serving the Lord.
Alice is survived by her three children; Tammy Dix of Chandler, Ariz., Clifford Cook (MaryAnn), of Rio Rancho and Autumn Olszak (Tom) of Gilbert, Ariz., three grandchildren; Parker and Holland Olszak, Luciano and her ex-husband, John Cook. She is also survived by her two sisters, Barbara (David) Wilkey and Sara Pride, many nieces and nephews and loved by lots of friends.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Clifford and Alda Sappington and her younger sister, Carol.
We will greatly miss our mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, but she is at peace now. Alice's funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Aztec Baptist Church, 1219 S. Main Ave, Aztec, with Pastor John McEver officiating.
Interment will follow in the Aztec Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, and to offset funeral costs the family asks that all donations be made to Aztec Baptist Church 505-334-6801 in honor of Ms. Alice Cook.
