Annie Mae Duncan(1924 - 2013)

Annie Mae Duncan, 89, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013, in Farmington. She was born May 27, 1924, in Jacksboro, Texas, to Lena and James Boone.
She was a tele-typist, in Union Town, Pa., during WWII. She then moved to Shepard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, where she met and married William Hallie Duncan, Oct. 24, 1945. They had been married for 67 years.
Annie owned Pauline Sportwear and was very active in Central Baptist Church, where she taught Bible school as well as Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed reading the Bible everyday, gardening and crocheting and collecting angels.
Annie is survived by her loving husband, William; son, Bill Duncan; daughter-in-law, Benet; grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Joe and Whitney; great-grandchildren, Coral and Peyton Duncan; sisters, Lela Osborne and her husband, Bill, Leta Ryman, Lavern Pino and her husband, Al; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe and Harvey Boone; and many friends who are in a heavenly place with God.
A service will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, at Alternative Choice Chapel.
Inurnment will be in Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington.
