Arthur C. "Art" Hickmott(1929 - 2013)

Arthur C. Hickmott, 83, of Farmington, went home to be with the God he loved on Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, following a brief battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 13, 1929, in Milford, Mich., the son of the late Steven and Maude (Hallock) Hickmott.
Art served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and then drove trucks for about 25 years. He lived and served in maintenance at Navajo Ministries for 30 years before retiring in January 2013 and was a friend to all . Art loved his work and was known as "Uncle" Art to many children who called FCHC home over the years. He will be greatly missed by all.
Art is survived by his wife, Cheryl; brother, Chet (Bev) Hickmott; children and stepchildren, Lynn, Curt, Cindy, Debbie, Denise, Brenda and Shanin; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be 10 a.m. today, Sept. 13, at Maranatha Fellowship Church, 618 Arrington St. in Farmington.
