Clyda Francis Sweany Weber, 91, quietly joined her Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was born in Kiowa County, Colo., on Feb. 26, 1923 to Clyde and Minnie Groomer Sweany.
Clyda, who was affectionately known as Tiny, married Willard Weber on June 30, 1941, in Cassville, Mo. Clyda and Willard celebrated 50 years of marriage together on June 6, 1991, before Willard's death on Sept. 19, 2001.
Clyda was a loving mother, sister, aunt and grandmother who will be missed by so many. She was a hardworking homemaker and a lifetime member of the Northside Church of Christ.
Clyda is survived by her son, Gordon; grandson, Justin (Sarah); and their children, Kyler and Kynlee. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanne Dillow, of Pueblo, Colo.; granddaughter, Katrina; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; and many friends.
Clyda is preceded in death by her husband, Willard; parents, Clyde and Minnie Sweany; sisters, Ruth, Anna and Cleo; and brothers, Jim and Dean.
Viewing will be at 9 a.m., Monday April 28, at Brewer Lee Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St., in Farmington.
A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m.
Burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
