Consuelo "Connie" Adair

Consuelo "Connie" Adair, 94, a long time resident of Farmington passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014, in San Gabriel, Calif. She was born in Santa Fe.
She married Fred Adair in 1945. They had four boys, Glenn, Jack, Frank and Dennis. The Adair's moved to Farmington in 1953. On the death of her husband in 1994, she moved to California, where she resided with family until death.
Connie was a devout Catholic, attending Sacred Heart Church and St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Connie also volunteered at church thrift shops and Mothers of Vietnam Service Members Organization. She was proud of her sons, three of whom served in Vietnam. Two of them, Glenn and Frank, became Los Angeles police officers; and Jack was ordained a Catholic priest and Dennis a Texas oil man.
While living in California, Connie would state, "I live in California but my heart is in New Mexico." Connie died peacefully surrounded by family and her priest.
