Gary Ray Watts, 65, of Aztec, died on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, in Farmington. He was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Eugene, Ore.
Gary will always be remembered as a master fabricator and ""fixer"" of all things.
He rarely traveled far without his faithful companion ""D.O.G.""
Gary was enjoying his retirement.
His love of camping and fishing was secondary only to his spending quality time with his family and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Watts; his mother, Dovie Watts and his brother, Robert Chesley.
He is survived by his sons, Harold Watts and Kenneth Watts, both of Farmington; daughters, Gari (Mitch) Wright, of Spring, Texas, Shawn (Ronald) Thompson and Tara Calaway, both of Farmington; father, Harold Wade Watts, of Point Blank, Texas; brother, Billy (Kathy) Watts, of Point Blank, Texas; sister, Sherry (Tom) Jones, of Point Blank, Texas; his special friend, Teresa Minear, of Farmington; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Alternative Choice, in Farmington, with Patrick Drake Jr. officiating.
A private inurnment will take place next summer during a camping trip in his honor.
Honorary pallbearer is Gary's best friend, Roy Callison Sr.
