Gladys Harper Hubble
Aug. 16, 1926-Nov. 27, 2012
Gladys, 86, departed this life on Nov. 27, 2012, in her home in Farmington.
While she regrets the temporary separation from her loved ones who remain, she is happy to be in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ and her husband, sweetheart and best friend, Ray, who proceeded her on this part of the journey.
Together they loved hunting and fishing, and she had a passion for cooking, sewing and horse racing. Her family was always her greatest love, and she was very fond of her church family at Mesa View Baptist.
Gladys was born in Grady, to John and Maggie Harper and was a resident of Farmington since 1956. She was also proceeded in death by her parents; brothers, Gerald and Bill Harper; daughter, Londa Wilson; granddaughter, Robin Washington and grandson, Scott Graves.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl English (Stan); son, Rod Hubble; brothers, Charles Harper (Sheila), E. J. Harper (Sue), Lonnie Harper; sisters, Geraldine Felton and Lenora Miller; grandchildren, Stanley English (Harriet), Leah Stovall (Cody), Gentry Wilson; great-grandchildren, Jazlin, Siearahlyn, Caden, Brennan, Jase, Garret, Deven, Kyle, Greg and Sami.
Gladys was retired from San Juan Regional Medical Center.
While her family and friends miss her greatly, we know she is safe and warm and with her loving Savior and those who have passed before.
Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, at Mesa View Baptist Church, 4 CR 5323, in Farmington, on the Bloomfield Highway with Pastor Tom Dierdorf officiating.
