Isabel F. Pete died on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012. She was born on Oct. 15, 1917, in Sanostee, to Nellie and Dick Peter. She was of Tachii'nii clan born for Tabaaha clan. She was a homemaker and a Navajo rug weaver.
Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie and Dick Peter; her husband, Burke Pete; her sisters, Christine Jones, Alice Lee, Verda Benally and Betty Nelson; her brothers, James Peter and David Peter; her sons, Wilson Frank, Francis Frank and Bruce Frank and her grandsons, Francis Frank, Jr. and Gabriel Bruce Frank.
She is survived by her daughters, Jan Harvey (Howard) and Dr. Virginia Daniels (Jimmie) and her son, Ervin Frank (Josephine); her sister, Jayne Eaton (George); 20 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral services for Isabel will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington. Please join the family for a reception at the Farmington Civic Center.
Pallbearers will be Sterling Frank, Jonathan Frank, Marc Daniels, Leander Frank, Michael Harvey, Matthew Frank, Lorenzo Frank, Earl Frank, Christopher Frank, Lee Frank and Lance Frank.
