Jacquelyn Ann Kelley was born Oct. 20, 1931 in Davenport, Iowa. She was the only daughter of the late John and Helen Tubbs. She passed away in Durango, Colo. and went home to be with The Lord on April 25, 2013 at the age of 81. She was a resident of the Middle Mesa area.
She is survived by sons, Gary Dorland and Michael Sindelar; daughter, Robyn Self, step-daughters, Lorelei Kelley and Jackie Kelley; cousin, Bill Macumber; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Jackie worked as the administrative secretary at Durango High School for a decade retiring in the early 1990's. She was previously employed at the Scripp's Institute of Oceanography in La Jolla, Calif. from 1967 to 1975.
She and her late husband, Larry Kelley, moved to the Middle Mesa area in 1980.
Jackie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ignacio, Colo. where she played the piano and organ.
Jackie's interests and hobbies included her pets, reading, playing piano and organ for church, living on the Middle Mesa and wildlife in general.
A service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, at the First Baptist Church of Ignacio with Pastor Frank Kihn officiating.
