Marilyn Ann Green, 76, of Farmington, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 17, 2014. She was born in Skiatook, Okla., to Paul and Alverta (Downs) Crain in 1937. Marilyn grew up and attended school in Skiatook, Okla., and later graduated from Skiatook High School. She graduated from Drawn's Business College in Tulsa, Okla. Marilyn had a love for playing the piano and teaching others how to play. She often enjoyed playing at home and church. Marilyn also loved to sing praises to God. Some of her other hobbies were traveling in her motor home, flying with her husband and walking around Animas Valley Mall for exercise. Marilyn was a proud member of the San Juan County Extension Club. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Green; sons, Randy and Bryan; brother, Jim Crain; sisters, Paula Crain and Carol Oates; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014, at the United Pentecostal Church, 1900 Fairview Ave. in Farmington, with Rev. Steve Carrington officiating. A private burial will take place at a later time.
