Olan Lee Divine was born on Oct. 2, 1949, and journeyed to his heavenly rest on Thursday, June 5, 2014.
He was a man of great love and integrity. He was kind and giving and always in possession of a calm and gentle countenance. He worked as hard as any man could labor, and did so without complaint or bitterness. He was truly a special man on earth, and we know he is now a special spirit in heaven.
His parents were Olan F. Divine and Betty J. Divine
He is survived by his wonderful wife, Kendra; his son, Olan; his daughter in love, Heather; and his two grandchildren, Garrett Ortiz and Aiden Divine, all of Aztec and Farmington.
He is survived by two younger brothers, Gary Divine and Darrell Divine; and two younger sisters, Donna Jones and Debbie Mahan, all from southwestern Missouri.
Countless are the relatives and friends, unmentioned by name here, that he loved, and who loved him.
And thanks most of all to his God, who brought him home when the time was right and the need was great. To the Lord, we will always be especially grateful.
A service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, at the Rev. Earl McQuitty's residence in Flora Vista.
Olan's care is entrusted to Alternative Choice, 804 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington, 505-325-9611. Those who wish to express their condolences may do so at www.serenityandcompany.com.
