Vera Vivian Leffler (Scott) Gray

Vera Vivian Leffler (Scott) Gray, 79, of Farmington, died on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 30, 1933, in Akron, Ohio, to Harvey and Emma Leffler.
The family moved to southern Calif. when the kids were still young.
Vera was married to Everett Scott from 1951 to 1974. They had three children, Karyn, James, and Cheryl.
In 1976, Vera met the love of her life, Mack Gray. They were married in 1977 in Las Vegas, Nev. They loved to travel and saw as much as they could of the U.S., Mexico and Canada in their R.V. Mom and Mack were inseparable until his untimely death in April of this year.
Mom worked in a shoe factory for many years. She also worked for Nutralite until her retirement in 1990.
She enjoyed crochet and made beautiful afghans, scarves and hats as well as many other items for all the family.
Mom truly loved the time she spent playing cards and dominoes with all her dearest friends.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jean Roberts and brothers, Kenny and Bobby.
She is survived by her children, Karen (Guy) Wade, James (CeCe) Scott, Cheryl (Terry ) Goossen, Jeff Gray, and Susan Gray; grandchildren, Jennifer Hutchens, Aaron (Jenny) Wade, Allen (Amanda) Goossen, Duane Gray and Shawn Gray; great-grandchildren, Ava, Vanessa and Jeremy Wade Wesley and Carmen Goossen.
Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of our Mom's life will take place in Hemet, Calif. with her family and friends.
