Feb. 25, 1948 - March 25, 2010
Marshall Plummer, 62, of Coyote Canyon, former vice-president of the Navajo Nation, passed from this life Thursday, March 25, 2010, in Pho-enix. Mr. Plummer was born Feb. 25, 1948, at Coyote Canyon.
Funeral services are pending with Desert View Funeral Home of Shiprock, North U.S. Hwy. 491; (505) 368-4607.

We express our sympathy to the family of Marshall Plummer. We mourn with you the loss of your loved one. In his passing, we learn more of the true stature of this man. We deeply respect his dedication to stand strong to the convictions and standards that he abided by. His quiet strength, unassuming leadership, and honesty are great legacies. We pay our respects and pause to salute this man for his good works and accomplishments. May his families be comforted and strengthened and their memories and love for him carry them during the days ahead. God bless you.

It is difficult to express the words of comfort at this time. Please accept my deepest condolence at this time. Pauline, you are a very strong woman; you will be there for your children and grandchildren and the spirit of your husband will always be there as a keepsake with them. Cherish the moments and memories of Marshall. Please continue to keep your faith and prayers with higher power. There may be times where you will be alone, but he is always there for all of you (24/7). Just reach out and seek his Word (he is real). This is what will keep you all together. Dear Pauline and Family: I am so sorry of the loss of your spouse, father, and grandfather. Please accept my deepest condolence at this time and I pray that you will be safe and bless throughout your life time; just an expression to you to keep the 'faith' of the higher power and he will take over for any situation. You are not alone as God is in your presence each and everyday (24/7). Reach out to him and you will be comforted by him no matter how things may look. You, your family and the Navajo Nation have lost and good Husband, father, relative, friend, leader, and to some a hero. We will all miss him dearly... I'm sure for all his love toward you, family and his people, Our Lord will welcome him with a smlie and open arms. His honesty, leadership, friendship and careing heart will be deeply missed. Your husband displayed what a true leader is by putting himself last and his people first. May Christ comfort and heal you in your time of need and God Bless you and your family.
