Jewell E. Martin Blair was born April 8, 1928. She slipped away to her heavenly home on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013.

She will be sincerely missed. She lived and loved her life to the fullest.
Jewell married Billy Lee Rhoden in 1946. They were blessed with two sons, David Rhoden and Robert Rhoden.
Jewell was a proficient seamstress. She kept her boys in the latest styles of shirts. Billy Lee and Jewell divorced in 1969. She found her soul mate in William Blair and were immediately married. She welcomed William's three children, David Blair, Ronald Blair and Sharon Donahue to her family.
Jewell worked within the sewing industries for numerous corporations in the Farmington area. Britts, Joann's Fabric and House of Fabric were her favorites and where she did most of her shopping. Jewell took on an and every sewing challenge from Halloween costumes to wedding dresses. William and Jewel owned and operated BJ Auto Sales. Jewell was very active in the Rebekahs and a member of the Elks Lodge.
Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, Mossie and Vallie (Mae) Martin; her beloved William Blair and Robert Rhoden (son) and William Martin (brother); and brother-in-law, Carl Blair.
Jewell leaves behind her son, David and wife, Donna and grandson, Dereck; sister-in-law, Nikki Martin of Arizona; three nieces that she adored, Karri, Kim and Kitrian; also left behind are brother, Paul Martin and his daughter, Paula; step-daughter Sharon Donahue and her daughter, Lynn; her step-sons, Ronald and David Blair and their families. Also left behind is her sister-in-law, Betty Jane Blair, who kept her in candy.
Jewell had lived for the past five years under the care of Life Care of Farmington.
The family would like to thank Life Care of Farmington, Dr. Obisike and Dr. Matthew Dekay for their lover and care of Jewell.
She was cremated and requested no service to be performed.
