Carol Moran, 81, of Scotia, N.Y., died Thursday evening, Jan. 2, 2014, after a long illness. She was born in Dedham, Mass., in 1932.
She lived and worked in Denver, Colo., many years as a courtroom clerk. An avid bridge player, a tennis lover and a doting soccer grandma. She was much loved.
Carol is survived by her sisters, Anne Burns and Frances Britton of Massachusetts; her children, Chris Moran (Paul Gordon), Martin Moran (Henry Stram), Carolyn Moran; and grandchildren, Elliott and Gramm Gordon and Country and Carina Moran.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Chamberlain and her youngest son, David F. Moran.
Donations in her memory, may be made to the extraordinary Joan Nicole Prince Home, 22 Glenview Dr., Scotia, NY 12302, where she was tenderly cared for in the last weeks of her life.
