Franklin "Lin" Duncan, 65, of Farmington, passed from this world at his home on Jan. 12, 2014. He was born in Brownfield, Texas, to Alvin and Onie Duncan. Frank moved to Farmington in 1949. He graduated from Farmington High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1966-1972. He retired from the City of Farmington Electrical Line Department in 1994.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and a special sister-in-law, Sharon Duncan. Frank is survived by his sister, Alvone, and husband Curtis Stocking of Farmington; brothers, Terry, and wife Liz Duncan of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Arnol Duncan of Roxton, Texas; nieces, Lesa Christian, Tami Slagle, Shey Harmon and Tore Duncan; and nephews, Alan Stocking and Chad Stocking. Frank also had nine great-nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 17, in Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington, with full military honors provided by VFW Post 2182.
