Joyce Marie Cobb
April 22, 1944 - May 16, 2012

Joyce Marie Cobb, 68, of Aztec, left this earth for her Heavenly home on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in Aztec. She was born April 22, 1944, in Baltimore, Md., to Mary and Stewart Fennekohl.
Joyce worked as a bus driver for Aztec schools for ten years and as an accountant for Utton Dairy.
She later moved to Basin Home Health for eight years where she enjoyed taking care of her patients.
Joyce was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved life in general.
Her passions including her award winning African violets, cooking, her grandchildren and her beloved cats, Lilly and Lizzy. They were her children after her children had grown; not to forget her angels and her flowers.
Joyce always made sure to make time to watch her favorite television program, "The Young and the Restless."
There was never a dull moment with Joyce, she could always put a smile on your face and knew how to make people laugh, for she never met a stranger.
Joyce had a huge heart, she was open minded and very caring.
She faced difficult medical problems with grace, courage and strength.
Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Mary.
She is survived by her husband, Robin Cobb; her son, Brian Smith; her daughter, Beth Hartsfield; her father, Stuart Fennekohl; her brother, Steve Fennekohl; her grandchildren, James Smith, Leanne Schuster, Taylor Hopper and Breezie Hopper and her great-grandchildren, James Jr. Smith, Kayce Schuster and Makaela Privett.
A grave side service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, May 21, in the upper section of the Aztec Cemetery, in Aztec, with Brother Dennis Vaughn officiating.
A reception will follow at 815 Apache Avenue in Aztec.
Pallbearers are LeRoy Hartsfield, Cody Hartsfield, Peter Kemp, John Saiz, Brian Smith, and Brad.
Arrangements are pending with Cope Memorial Chapel of Aztec, 405 S. Main Ave., 505-334-9332.
