Lucy Marie Dennison, 84, of Upper Fruitland, passed from this life Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, while surrounded by family at San Juan Regional Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1929, near Morgan Lake.
Lucy's hobbies were sewing, quilting, needlework, rugweaving, arts and crafts, beadwork, gardening, cooking. She enjoyed and cherished spending time with family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leroy Dennison Jr., parents; Frank and Benzibaa Palmer, sister; Amy Yazzie, brothers; Harry Palmer and Henry Palmer. She is survived by her son; Ernest (Sarah) of Pinon, Ariz. Daughters; Lucille (Herman Jones) of Fruitland, Sandra Dennison of Fruitland, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and brothers; Andrew Palmer, Charles Palmer Sr. sister; Bessie P. Teeswood.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at First Assembly of God Church on 805 Saguaro Trail in Farmington. Pastor R. Dewayne Bardwell will officiate.
Interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington.
Family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Uche Obisike, R.N.s, C.N.A.s of the medical floor and ICU unit. Especially the RN's at SJRMC. Also Doctor's and staff of San Juan Oncology.
