Mary ""Irene"" Crandall Foutz, 83, of Kirtland, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, in Kirtland. She was born Nov. 25, 1928, in Farmington, to Walter O. and Sarah Frances Bain Crandall.
Irene is survived by her husband of 65 years, Albert Kneale Foutz; children, Blane (Mary Ann) Foutz, of Pagosa, Colo., Marie (Will) Norris, of Turley, Roberta (Steven) Rutland of Hyde Park, Utah, Michael (Susan) Foutz, of Kirtland and Beverly (Jimmy) Barnes, of Aztec. Also surviving are a brother, Walter O. (Pam) Crandall, of Silverdale, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Irene will be 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 479 County Road 6100, in Kirtland, with Bishop Rodney Warner conducting.
Interment will follow in Kirtland-Fruitland Cemetery.
