Petrita Ida Hendrix
Sept. 5, 1955-Sept. 26, 2012

Petrita Ida Hendrix, 57, of Aztec, died on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, in Aztec. She was born Sept. 5, 1955, in Mora, to Benito and Maggie Sisneros.
Petrita loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed being on the boat, watching her grandchildren play sports.
She loved to cook, especially Mexican food and enjoyed decorating her home. It was always beautiful.
She taught aerobics in Rawlins and rocked to the oldies but goodies.
Petrita was always willing to listen to everyone's problems and help with anything she could.
She enjoyed dancing to any kind of music especially Country Music with her husband. But when it came to the oldies she would just get up and dance.
She will be missed by all.
Petrita worked with her friends for several years at Woods Insurance Company.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shawna Evette; her parents; sister, Nancy Cervantes and her grandson, Robert Maes.
Petrita is survived by her husband, Royce Hendrix; sons, Clifford Maes, Dameon Maes and Tony Lake; her daughter, Leslie (Jason) Larkins; brothers, Michael, Fred and Marvin Sisneros and Nathan (Connie) Gallegos; sisters, Eloisa Gallegos, Juanita (Mark) Hill, Virginia (Chip) Rowden, Rosa (Cippi) Sanchez, Terri (Mike) Mendoza and Sharon Archuleta; her grandchildren, Sean, Taelor, Dayvin, Isaiah, Sanyssa, Aiden and Javier and her dear friends at Woods Insurance, with a special thank you to Roy ""Bunky"" Owen.
