Kathryn S. Williams, 90, of Farmington passed away in her sleep of natural causes on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, in her home. She was born May 30, 1923, in Lockney, Floyd County, Texas, the daughter of John F. Starkey and Kathryn McLaughlin Starkey.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, husband "Woody" Williams; step-son, Gary Brewer; and brothers, Jim, Bob, and John Starkey.
She leaves behind her sisters, Nina Brewer of Abilene, Texas, Eula Mullen of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and three step-children, Annice Wilson, Ann New and Ken Williams.
Kathryn taught school in the Farmington School System from early 1950 until her retirement in the late 1970s.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 East Main St. in Farmington.
