Mary Louise Johnson, 84, of Turley, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014, in Bloomfield. She was born March 6, 1930, in Brush, Colo., to Thomas Blake Hutton and Ethel Williams, and raised by Sally Williams Kurth.
Mary graduated from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Tucson, Ariz. After moving to Farmington, she was a registered nurse in the emergency room. Then she became the school nurse for the Central Consolidated School District in Kirtland. She loved her flowers and gardening, and she loved her dogs dearly.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert R. Johnson Jr. and grandmother, Sally Williams Kurth.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Rusty) Royce; one grandchild, Tara (Mike) Royce; and two great-grandchildren, Dakota Tycksen and Hunter Royce.
There will be no services.
