Terry Denise Motto Sowells, 60, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014.
Terry was born in Durango, Colo., on July 24, 1953, to her parents Victor and Faye Motto of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole; father, Vic; and sister, Vicky.
Terry is survived by her loving husband, Alfred; daughter, Marissa; and granddaughter, Nevaeh. Other survivors include her mother, Faye; brothers, Hugh (Judy) and Gib (Misty); and many relatives and friends.
Terry attended all of her early education years in Bloomfield, graduating from Bloomfield High School in 1971.
During those years she was selected as a cheerleader while in middle and high school.
After attending the University of New Mexico, she chose the accounting profession as a career, eventually opening her own business in her home.
Terry loved the outdoors, gardening, camping and most of all, her family. She is now at peace after suffering from a long illness.
She was loved by all who knew her and we all will miss her very much.
A memorial service 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at Cope Memorial of Farmington.
