Princess RoseaLee Jane Mitchell was born June 6, 2012, in Durango, Colo., to Roberta "Lizzy" Sanchez, Tommy Lee Mitchell and Irving "JR" Hemingway. Princess passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, in Albuquerque, at the age of 2.
Our Lil' Princess was only here for a short time, but in that short time she touched many lives. The heart she had for everybody was amazing. Princess was beyond intelligent. She was and is a shining light, our Lil' Sunshine.
Most precious child anybody could have. She could turn a frown upside down with a simple touch. Our "Sour Patch Kid" will always be missed.
Princess was preceded in death by her grandmother Bonnie Rose Mitchell. She is survived by her parents, Roberta "Lizzy" Sanchez, Tommy Lee Mitchell and Irvin "JR" Hemingway; brothers, Darien Hemingway and Derrick Hemingway; her grandparents, Bobbie J. Crane, Danny Marsing, Chris Sanchez Jr., Esmarell Dancy, Irving Hemingway Sr. and Sharon Mitchell.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, at Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 6, at New Life Worship Center, 8121 E. Main St. in Farmington, officiating will be the Rev. Ruben Romero.
Pallbearers are Edwardo Montoya, Mitchell Sanchez, Serafin Carter, Tyrone Haynes, Jason Reed, Jarod Reed, Johnathan Reed and Jeremiah Wiggins.
Honorary pallbearers are Irving Hemingway Jr., Chris Sanchez Jr., Danny Marsing, Chris Griffin, Joe E. Reed Jr., Brandon Rascon and Rigo Acosta.
