Darrell Layne Bellows, 59, of Aztec, passed from this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at his home in Aztec. He was born to Ray and Jane Bellows, on Jan. 26, 1955, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Darrell is survived by his son Kade and daughter Natania and his beloved "Mecca;" sisters Gail (James), Kaye and Delores (Rodney); and brothers, Harold (Treasa) and Terrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Darrell graduated from Aztec High School and remained an avid Tiger fan his entire life. He loved baseball and especially enjoyed coaching youth baseball for many years. He was a huge fan of Connie Mack. Darrell loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
A graveside service will be at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, in Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington, with Pastor Bob Schlauger officiating.
Pallbearers are Jay Justice, John Justice, Paul Montoya, Jerrod Fisher, Noel Chitwood and Bobby Wells.
Honorary pallbearers are Daryl Bellows, Trevor Bellows and Cameron Fisher.
