Edna (Lena) Mosberger, 95, of Aztec, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Four Corners Good Samaritan in Aztec. She was born Aug. 11, 1918, in Oklahoma, to Millie Covington and James Goodin, the youngest of their 14 children.
She was married to James L. Mosberger on April 4, 1942, and just celebrated 72 years of marriage. Edna and James have resided in Aztec for the last 14 years after moving there from Kilgore, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband James L. Mosberger; their son James G. Mosberger and his wife Terri; step-grandchildren, Mike Graff and wife Julie and Lyndsay Barrett and husband Steve and four great-grandchildren.
The family would like to gratefully thank the staff at the Four Corners Good Samaritan Nursing Home of Aztec and Dr. Kompare for their excellent service and care of Lena during her stay with them.
Cremation will take place.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home in Farmington, conducted by Pastor Kevin Parker.
