Joshua John William Garcia, 28, of Farmington, passed away in his home on Monday, July 14, 2014, in Farmington. He was born May 10, 1986, to Valerie L. Amaya and John Garcia. As a child he loved playing baseball and football. Joshua loved sports his whole life. He was a heavy hauler for the oil and gas industry. As Josh would say he loved "Truckin." Joshua was the kind of person who made a lasting impression if you just met him once you were a friend to him for life. He was a kind, courageous and loyal man. He was a wonderful brother and friend. He has been reunited with his momma now, he greatly missed her. Joshua John will always be loved and never forgotten. Josh is preceded in death by his mother Valerie L. Amaya, and grandparents Richard and Toni Amaya, Mary Aragon (Madrea) and Bill Grimsley (great-grandfather). Josh is Survived by his sister Tiffany M. Garcia, brother Kobee M. Jacobson; and great-grandmother Marie Grimsley; uncle Steve Amaya; best friends Josh Montoya and Steven Montoya; girlfriend Shannel Valdez; and many other numerous cousins and friends. A memorial service for Josh will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, at Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington the interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens.
