Cynthia L. Sweetland, 58, of Farmington, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, in Farmington. She was born Nov. 1, 1955, in Douglas, Neb., to Reno and Noreen Bertsch.
Cynthia was the vice president of Dugan Production Corporation. She enjoyed racing cars, tending her fishpond and playing with her granddaughters. They meant everything to her.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Randy Sweetland; son Jamey Sweetland; in-laws, Frosty and Norma Sweetland; brother Wade Bertsch; and her granddaughters, Victoria and Elizabeth Sweetland.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, at Bethany Christian Church, 711 E. 30th St. in Farmington, with the Rev. Ursula Messano. A reception will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Dugan Production Corporation, 709 E. Murray Drive, in Farmington.
