Arthur David Enoah, 72, of Newcomb, passed from this life Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, in Newcomb. He was born April 26, 1942, in Hogback.
He attended Farmington schools and attended New Mexico School for the Deaf in Santa Fe where he graduated. His post high school was spent in Los Angeles, California where he attended LA Tech where he received AA Certificate for Printer/Editor, cabinet maker and shoe cobbler.
He is survived by his sister Mary Enoah and her sons, Reginald Sanderson, Jr. and Donovan Sanderson; numerous nephews, niece; and he was the grandfather and great-grandfather to all of his nieces' and nephews' children.
He was preceded in death by wife Julia Rose Benally Enoah; parents, Willie, Sr. and Nellie Atsiidii Nez Bitsi' Enoah; brothers, Roy Enoah, William Enoah and Sam Enoah, Sr.; and sisters, Pauline Hobson Hoff, Ruby Woods, Rosetta Enoah and Lula Enoah.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at Desert View Funeral Home Chapel, Shiprock. Pastor Tim Shaeffer will officiate. Interment will follow at Shiprock Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Reginald Sanderson, Jr., Myron Roy Enoah, Leander Clyde Allen, Myron Garcia, Philbert John and Daniel Joe.
Honorary pallbearers are Mary Enoah, Herman Enoah, Donovan Sanderson, Samuel Enoah and Federick Lee. Arthur is in the care of Desert View Funeral Home, North U.S. Highway 491, in Shiprock, 505-368-4607.
