Wilson Trujillo, 93, of Bloomfield, died on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in Bloomfield. He was born July 15, 1918, in Lybrook.
Wilson went to school in Ignacio, Colo. and Towaoc, Colo.
He worked at many ranches in Southern Colorado: Hesperus, Breen, Cascade and Hay Gulch. He was a shepherd in the La Plata Mountains, and was a butcher for 10 years in Monticello, Utah, and for 10 years more at Cedar Hill.
He lived out his life living at Crouch Mesa with one of his sons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby J. Trujillo; son, Hebrew Trujillo; sister, Ruth Platero; and one grandchild.
He is survived by his sons, Andrew Trujillo, Willis Trujillo, Wilbert Trujillo, Ozzie Trujillo and Wesley Trujillo; and daughters, Vera Jack, Marsha Duncan and Renee Sanchez.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today, Feb. 16, at Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington St. in Farmington.
Interment will follow the funeral services, at Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington.
